Myanmar, Thailand to strengthen naval cooperation

Myanmar navy commander-in-chief Tin Aung San has paid a courtesy call on Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan, the National News Bureau of Thailand reported on 12 May.
The Myanmar navy chief said his visit to Thailand and talks with his Thai counterpart Adm Na Areenit went smoothly and the two navies will jointly develop and strengthen naval cooperation.
The Thai deputy premier thanked him for the naval cooperation between both countries which will play an important role in strengthening the Thai-Myanmar military relationships according to the report.
