Nay Myo Lin, editor-in-chief and Sai Aung, journalist of Voice of Myanmar (VOM) based in Mandalay were released by the court on June 17.

VOM Editor-in-Chief Nay Myo Lin and Sai Aung were arrested by the Military Security Force (MSF) for interrogating on April 27 at around 10 am.

The two were then charged under Section 505 (a) of the Penal Code and investigated via online.

A few days after the arrest of Editor-in-Chief Nay Myo Lin, VOM news production is still suspended until now.
