Two more COVID-19 deaths reported

Two more deaths of COVID-19 patients and 99 new confirmed cases were reported in Myanmar on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Health and Sports Ministry, Xinhua reported.

The death toll has risen to 10 while the infection tally reached 1,709.

A 69-year-old man and a 82-year-old woman with underlying hypertension and diabetes died of acute respiratory failure due to COVID-19 with severe pneumonia on Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon, the ministry said.
