Bomb blasts occurred in Mogok Township, Mandalay Region, on 7 October at the Music Zone KTV lounge in Betaung ward, and at a home in Chanmyaetharyar ward.

“The Music Zone KTV is a entertainment venue which is frequently visited by junta soldiers. It is likely to be the reason for bomb explosion. Meanwhile, the home of another incident was owned by the son-in-law of a woman who leases an apartment to non-CDM civil service personnel, and she is known as a junta informant and her son is also a military officer,” said a local.

Some motorbikes in front of the home were damaged in the attack.
