Taze People's Defense Force (PDF) said in a statement on December 15 that three soldiers were killed and two others seriously injured in a landmine attack on junta’s force patrolling in Taze township, Sagaing region.

15 junta’s troops patrolling on foot from the west bridge of Kyun Taw Kone village, about three miles north of Taze town, towards Daunt Gyi village, were attacked with two landmines on December 15.

The bodies and injured were picked up by a car owned by an informant (Dalan) from Falamchai village, according to the statement.
