Progressive Karenni People Force (PKPF) announced that ten junta soldiers were killed and there were also reports about casualties in the battle of Demoso township, Karenni State on January 9.

The Karenni People Defense Force (KPDF) announced that ammunition and communications equipment belonging to the junta group were confiscated during the fighting.

The fighting has been taking place over a six-mile stretch of the township.

Photos from the scene, taken by the KPDF, show what was captured.

The photos show the uniforms of the soldiers from the 66th Division of the Military Council and 15 military used rattan baskets. Those baskets were used to carry food and ammunition for each junta soldier to the front lines.
