Taiwan's top research unit unveils its first portable attack drone, similar to the US-made Switchblade 300 currently in use by Ukrainian soldiers against Russia's invasion. Designed to be small enough to be carried in a backpack, Taiwan's loitering munition drone has a range of 10 kilometres and can stay in the air for 15 minutes.

"Because it is lightweight and portable, it's like a soldier's big grenade that can fly," explains one official.
