The National Unity Government (NUG)

· The Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management- NUG has been providing educational activities on disaster prevention and the reduction of casualties among civilians in the junta attacks.

· In commemoration of the 3rd anniversary of the 2020 General Election, the Committee Representing the Pyitaungsu Hluttaw released a statement calling for 5 points.

· The Ministry of Women, Youth and Children- NUG provided support to children aged above 6 months and pregnant women in 6 villages of Myaung Township in Sagaing Region.

· In Pinlebu Township of Kawlin District, local people’s administration gave food to 17 households from the mountain area, who had run away from battles.

· At 10:00 am Tuesday, there was a meeting between the People’s Police Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration- NUG and the People’s Security Forces from Sagaing Region and Magwe Region.

· According to the Spring Development Bank on Tuesday, they achieved 40% of their mission as 40,000 people have opened bank accounts in their campaign for 100,000 bank accounts for the future federal democracy.

· In Ye-U Township of Sagaing Region, Federal Wings conducted a bomb attack via drone on the junta army stationing at the junta’s traditional medicine hospital.

Revolutionary Activities

· The National League for Democracy (NLD) stated that they would keep committed to cooperation with the public, anti-junta ethnic allies and partners for the establishment of a federal democratic union.

· In Yinmabin Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army set fire to Lattaungnge Village at about 8:00 am Wednesday.

· On Tuesday evening, Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the PDF attacked the junta army in Pinlebu. At night, the junta soldiers showed the white flag and gave up their arms.

· In Pale Township, there was a public movement in support of Operation 1027. The Strike Committee also showed revolutionary movies to local people.

· In Yinmabin Township, a combined rally of local villages showed their support for Operation 1027 by the Three Brotherhood of Northern Alliance together with the revolutionary forces.

· The local residents welcomed Kani PDF which managed to confiscate two junta vessels in Chindwin River.

· In Kawlin under control of the PDFs, the combined defence forces conducted an area clearance operation on Tuesday. They also confirmed the fatalities of 4 civilians in the battle.

· In Waw Township of Bago Region, the junta armed forces fired mortars. Reportedly, 4 civilians lost their lives and 6 others were injured.

· On Tuesday, China expressed its deep concerns for the fighting in the northern part of Myanmar.

· In Tanintharyi Township of Tanintharyi Region, there were clashes between the PDFs and the junta armed forces. Reportedly, 6 junta soldiers died.

· Over 400 civil society organizations (CSOs) called on the government of Australia to impose serious sanctions on the military junta.

· In Yesagyo Township of Magwe Region, revolutionary forces attacked the junta inspection gate at Hsin Phyu Shin Bridge. Reportedly, there were casualties on both sides.

Ethnic Armed Organisations (EAOs)

· On Tuesday, the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) raised its flag at the border post in Mong Ko on the Myanmar-China border.

· The Three Brotherhood of Northern Alliance stated that it would fight more to regain Laukkaing Area from under the junta’s control in Northern Shan State.

· In Naungcho Township of Shan State, the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and Mandalay PDFs have been attacking the junta army near Shwe Nyaungbin Village.

· In Kalaw Township of Southern Shan State, a soldier from the junta army Ka-Ma-Ya (422) defected to Pekone PDF together with weapons.

· In Mese Township on the border of Karenni State and Thailand, Karenni revolutionary forces managed to seize the three camps of the junta’s Border Guard Force in the Pantain Area.

· On 4 November, the Northern Alliance stated that the junta army has been making more military preparations in Rakhine State.

· On Wednesday morning, the MNDAA took control of another junta outpost in the Kokang Area.

The Military Council

· In Gantgaw Township in Magwe Region, the junta police asked for the support of an air strike in the attack on the police station in Min Village. The junta army officer told them that the support would come soon and they were to counterattack the PDFs. Reportedly, those junta policemen died in the fight.

· China and Myanmar signed the agreements for three solar power plants.

· Due to a large number of fatalities among junta soldiers in frontline battles throughout the country, the military junta instructed all their forces to recite religious mantras.

· The junta Central Bank stated that local private banks would cooperate with Evrofinance Mosnarbank from Russia for a payment system between the two countries.

· The junta Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations received a delegation from Russia.

· The Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar met with the junta Minister of the Union Government Office (2). Reportedly, they discussed bilateral cooperation, the acceptance of those who fled home in Rakhine State, and humanitarian aid.

Summary on 9 November

· The revolution forces have been able to gain control of towns and the junta outposts one after another on a daily basis. On the other hand, the military junta has had a great loss in battles. They instructed their members to do a religious ritual. In other words, the junta soldiers feel insecure mentally.

· The revolution still has been in great momentum. The fighting might become more intense due to upcoming battles to take control of towns under the junta’s control.
