The National Unity Government (NUG)

· The Ministry of Women, Youth and Children-NUG provided necessary support to children and pregnant women in Htigyaint Township and Pinlebu Township of Sagaing Region.

· In cooperation with Ministry of Economics and Commerce-NUG, Myanmar Institute of Economy, Commerce and Industry (MIECI) will conduct a two-day training on promoting trade information portals for the CDM students and staff.

· According to the PDF under the Ministry of Defence-NUG, the Department of People’s Security organized training for the comrades from Regiment (805) in Naypyidaw Military Region from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on 3 October.

Revolution Activities

· In honour of those who lost lives in the case of 44th Street in Yangon, North Dagon Oppressed People's Strike Coalition carried out an anti-junta movement at a market somewhere in the city.

· In Kani Township of Sagaing Region, there was a bomb attack via drone on Alegyun Village, where the junta’s Pyusawti members have been staying, on Friday morning.

· In Pale Township, there was a mine attack on the junta army near Lettaunggyi Village on Thursday morning.

· In Pale Township, the junta army has been invading Pale-Gantgaw Road. Consequently, more than 15,000 local people have had to run away.

· On Saturday, a combined rally of local villages from Salingyi and Yinmabin marched against the military dictatorship.

· In Salingyi Township, there was a rally in memory of 10 PDF members who had been ruthlessly burnt to death by the junta army a year and 10 months ago. They also expressed their objection to the military dictatorship.

· In Madayar Township of Mandalay Region, local PDFs attacked a Pyusawti camp in Thonesepay Village. Reportedly, there were casualties among junta members.

· In Gantgaw Township of Magwe Region, there was an attack on the junta police digging bunkers at Taungkhinyan Police Station. According to ABSDF Column (3), a junta policeman died.

· Justice for Myanmar objected to the decision of Macarthur Bulls Football Team from Australia to play against Shan United owned by Kun Naung Myint Wai, a crony in business relations with the military junta.

· The revolution forces sent statements on the two-year anniversary of Dawei People’s Liberation Force.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

· In Fruso of Karenni State, a junta convoy parked in No. (14) Military Training School fired a large number of mortar shells. According to the Karenni Nationalities Defence Force, a woman was injured in her head and back and some houses were damaged.

· In Duplaya District under Karen National Union Brigade (6), the military junta has been strengthening their forces and sending rations via air. Regarding it, the KNU released a video in which the items were being dropped by parachute from military helicopters.

The Military Council

· In Kalay of Sagaing Region, the junta army shot at four young people going out by motorbike to play football. Reportedly, a young man aged 17 lost his life.

· In Myingyan of Mandalay Region, the military junta has been providing a compulsory Pyusawti training.

· The junta Union Supreme Court rejected the appeal related to 6 corruption charges against State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.

· To cooperate in science and engineering subjects like nuclear energy, 3 universities under the junta Ministry of Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with National Research Nuclear University (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute-MEPhI) from Russia at Yangon Technological University.

· The junta leader Senior General Min Aung Hlaing claimed that to reduce the high cost of living, Myanmar Economic Corporation and Myanma Economic Holdings Limited had been assigned to contribute to the needs for meat, fish and vegetables in Yangon and Mandalay.

Summary on 8 October

· Even without the basic knowledge for the balance between demand and supply, the junta leader ordered the companies owned by the junta army to sell products. He might be thinking that such activities in some areas would reduce the high cost of living. Judging from it, his stupidity is frustrating.

· It has been more than two years since the public have taken up arms against the military junta. It is found out that the revolution forces have been organized more systematically and their fighting skill has greatly improved.
