Yangon Region

• At about 8:00 pm Saturday, the junta armed forces made a door-to-door raid in Min street of Sanchaung Township and arrested a young man and a young woman. After two explosions near Myenigone overhead bridge, they have been conducting more and more arrests in Sanchaung Township.
• In Hlegu Township, U Aung Htay Naing, the junta-appointed household leader in Yaittha Ward, was shot by some unknown people on Saturday evening while he was buying betel at the shop in front of his house on Yankin (6) street. He was hit with a bullet and he has been receiving medical treatment at Hlegu hospital. Hlegu PDF announced that they had carried it out.
• At about 9:00 pm Saturday, there were two explosions at Music Zone KTV on the road corner of Thumingala and Thayettaw in Zawana Ward of Thingangyun Township. That KTV had been closed down during the tenure of the NLD government. It was allowed to reopen by the military junta.
• In North Dagon Myothit Township, there were three explosions in front of Inle store opened by Ko Yu, junta-appointed administrator of (39) Ward, before 6:00 am Sunday. Reportedly, there was no damage or injury. After the explosions, the junta armed forces blocked off some streets in the ward and inspected the people, cars and motorbikes passing through.
• In Insein Township, a bomb was thrown into a military truck that stopped near the bottom of Aung Zayya bridge on Kanna road in Kanna Ward at about noon Sunday. As it didn’t explode, there was no damage or injury. But after the incident, the junta armed forces in 6 military trucks raided Insein Aung Zayya Housing compound and arrested some young people.
• A rally of Shwe Pyi Tha various staff members protested against the military dictatorship, holding signs with words of strong determination.
• Urban Guerrilla Force (U.G.R.F) announced on Sunday afternoon that they had carried out explosions at the junta facilities and buildings like Mytel office, Music Zone, Shwe Man Thu, Kamayut police station and all across Yangon on 3rd July, the birthday of the junta leader Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Mandalay Region

• At about 10:00 pm Saturday during the curfew, there were bomb explosions at Chanaye Thazan Township NLD office on 33 street in Mandalay and Patheingyi Township NLD office.
• Man Engineering rally went up to 78 roads at noon Sunday and expressed their desire for the end of the military dictatorship.
• A rally of Chan/Zi in Unity took to the streets and expressed their desire for the downfall of the military dictatorship.
• With a lot of people, a rally of Man Engineer Family went around the city and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship.
• Manlay Pyinyat Monks’ Union took to the streets at noon and peacefully expressed their desire for the release of those who have been unjustly arrested and against the military dictatorship.
• As ko Soe Htay, a leader of Moegoke public protest had been away, his wife and the elder daughter, who were arrested as hostages, has been in detention at Moegoke prison. His elder daughter, who has been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, was not allowed to receive medical treatment. Reportedly, her health is in serious condition. They were arrested together with 5-year old daughter Ma Su Htet Wine by the junta armed forces on 13th June. The younger daughter was released on 30th June.
• According to Myingyan Public Movement Committee, the junta armed forces fired ammunitions near Myingyan BEHS (2) at about 7:00 pm Saturday, injuring a resident.
• At about 8:00 am Sunday, Aung Moe Thant, junta-appointed administrator of Ward (19) in Myingyan, was shot at home by some unknown people who had come there saying that they wanted to get a recommendation letter. He was injured in the incident. ZERO Guerrilla Force announced that they had done it. At about 11:00 am, the car of U Kyaw Kyaw Oo, junta-appointed administrator of Ward (6), was shot while he was driving in Ward (8). As he drove into the nearby police station, there was no injury.
• In some northern villages of Myingyan, the military junta has been persuading the youth to become Pyusawti members.
• In Taungtha Township, junta police and soldiers in 4 cars arrived at Tada Anaught village on Saturday evening and raided the houses of residents, accusing them of being village security team members established by CRPH. They then arrested at least two people.
• At about 9:00 am Sunday, a military officer in charge of security at Maittila General Hospital committed suicide by shooting himself. Enquiries are being made for this reason.

Bago Region

• In Bago, U Kyaw Kyaw, former administrator of Shinsawpu Ward during the tenure of U Thein Sein’s government and a former soldier was shot on his motorbike from behind by some unknown people. He was injured and died.
• At about 10:30 am Sunday, the junta armed forces arrested Ma Thanda Linn and two other women at their houses in Pwinthla Theingone Ward of Pyi, saying that they were contained in the video of the funeral strike movement in Pyi on the birthday of the junta leader.

Sagaing Region

• According to a resident, the junta armed forces made fire ammunitions as a threatening act in Kalay at about 9:00 pm Saturday. They had done it no less than four or five times. After their shootings, a 69-year old man named Pa Gin Do Lian and a woman named Daw Than Yi died of Sudden cardiac arrest. Reportedly, they didn’t have any chronic disease.
• Young residents of Kalay went around the town on Sunday morning and expressed their desire for the end of the military dictatorship.
• About 300 junta soldiers arrived at the villages in the east of Kani on 1st July. After that, the fighting broke out between them and local PDFs. Some villagers died and reportedly, four more dead bodies were found on Sunday morning.
• At about 6:00 am Sunday, an explosion happened when the anti-junta vinyl was being removed from a tree on Strand road in Kanti. A junta policeman was injured in the incident.
• In Butalin Township, a rally comprising various villages went around the villages and expressed their objection to the military dictatorship.
• In Pale Township, about 100 residents of Gyayningyi village protested against the military dictatorship.
• Together with the junta informers, 150 junta soldiers raided the villages in the west of Dapeyin Township on 2nd July. As they shot mortars, the local PDFs had to fight back in defence. After that, 19 people lost their lives. Reportedly, 6 more dead bodies were found on Sunday morning.
• Shwebo PDF posted a video on their social media which contained the ceremony on completion of the warfare training Batch (1/2021) of the revolution people who will uproot the military junta in Shwebo.

Ayeyarwady Region

• In Gyankhine Township, the township general administration called U Myo Min Soe or Ko Poehat attended a meeting and was arrested on 1st July. Reportedly, he has been out of touch with his family since then.
• After declaring Pathein, Thabaung and Myaungmya as stay-at-home townships due to the high rate of COVID-19 infection, all basic education schools, monastic education schools and private schools will have to be closed temporarily starting from 5th July.

Taninthayi Region

• A rally of Dawei South went round the town on their motorbikes on Sunday morning and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship.
• In Longlone Township, residents of Nyinmaw go round the village every day without fail and protest against the military dictatorship. Chanting for the end of the military dictatorship, there were rallies in Lower Yebyu and Minmaw villages respectively.
• In Taninthayi Region, more than 160 staff members of the agriculture department were dismissed for joining the CDM. Depending on their positions, they have been asked to pay compensations for resigning before their contract terms are full.

Kachin State

• Amidst tight security measures in Pha-Kant, a rally of gems workers expressed their objection to the military dictatorship. The local people from Pha-Kant Tamakan Myothit also expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship. Amidst the rain, residents of Lonekhine group went around the villages and made a motorbike protest for the downfall of the military dictatorship.
• Moegaung townspeople went round the town on their motorbikes on Sunday afternoon and protested against the military dictatorship.
• In Tanai, town-based junta army (260) has been inspecting the motorboats and vessels going in Tanai stream with the excuse for security. Reportedly, they have been collecting money by force, depending on the types of businesses and goods.

Kayah State

• Although the local PDFs ceased fire in Lwaikaw, there were two battles between KarenniArmy and the junta armed forces 6 kilometres south of town on Saturday evening. The IDPs near the battle zone had to move farther.
• As the junta armed forces have been moving around some village groups in Lwaikaw Township for clearance operation in the area, PKPF called on the public to stay safe and not to go out unless necessary.

Chin State

• Rumour has it that there will be battles in Mindat in a few days. Mindat Public Administration Team announced that the people are not to believe that and not to share fake news on social media.

Mon State

• Residents of Paung Township marched against the military dictatorship, holding signs with words of strong determination.
• At about 11:00 am, there was an explosion in the compound of Ye Township police station. Reportedly, there was no damage or injury.
• The youth in Mawlamyein and Chaungsone made paper strike with the theme- “Let’s not be cool down in the fight against the military dictatorship”.

Shan State

• In Muse, there were two explosions at the traffic lights near the airport and the district court at about 8:00 pm during the curfew on Saturday. Further enquiries are being made to know if there were any injuries.
• An alliance named South Shan Youth Groups PDF was established with local PDFs in Shan State; Youth Voices Taunggyi, TAI PDF, Namsamg PDF, Loilem PDF, Pinglong PDF and Laikha PDF.
• In Kukkai Township, there was a battle between KIA and the junta armed forces between Manlone and Gyaungpyin villages, starting from 8:15 am. The junta military used the help of mortars in their fight.
• Starting from 10:30 am, the junta traffic police had been inspecting the cars and motorbikes near Pasad monastery and Maiyone gas station in Tachileik Township.
• With more than 270 COVID-19 positive cases in Naungcho, stay-at-home has been declared in town and all the schools are closed temporarily.

Rakhine State

• In Taunggoke, the military arrested 7 people including U Aung Naing Win, chair of Moe charity training school, on 5th June. Reportedly, they have transferred them to the police. However, they have been out of contact with their families.

Nay Pyi Taw

• Captain Min Maung Maung, a surgeon from the medical army (14), has joined the CDM as he no longer wants to work under the military junta. He has now been in a free territory.
• The public’s leader Daw Aung San Su Kyi, who has been unjustly arrested by the military junta conveyed a message to the public through her lawyers in the trial at Nay Pyi Taw special court on Sunday that she is concerned about the high rate of COVID-19 infection in the country and urges the public to take great care.

Summary on 4th July

• In Yangon, there were protests on the streets as well as explosions at places concerning the military junta. There were also frequent counter-attacks to the military junta. As for the junta armed forces, they have been conducting more arrests day and night.
• In Mandalay, the public protests against the military dictatorship were ongoing with great momentum. In Myingyan, there were exchanges of attack between anti-junta people and pro-military people. There were frequent activities of clearing the junta-appointed administrators and informers.
• In big towns and villages of other states and regions, there were still public protests in great momentum. In Kayar State, the junta armed forces continued to fight with ethnic armed organization while they ceased fire with local PDFs. Moreover, they have been strengthening their movements even in the villages with the excuse for clearance operations in the area.
• Due to the high rate of COVID-19 infection, the military junta is having a hard time in the operation of administration. They have been trying to keep it under control by declaring stay-at-home. They have also been focusing to restrict anti-junta movements
• and fighting against armed revolution. They are still using too much force in the areas with communication difficulties.
