Summary on 4 March

  • With prejudice, the military junta has been keeping Sagaing Region in subjection and hardship. On Friday, they continued to commit war crimes by setting fire to villages, killing civilians and stealing property in Yinmabin and Kani townships. Therefore, it is necessary to fight against the junta army in other areas so that they cannot put all their oppression on only one region.
  • Covering up right information, the junta ministry of information has been conducting propaganda talks at schools. As for parents, they are responsible for their children not to become extremists blinded by the propaganda.
  • In Mandalay, Yangon, Sagaing and Magwe, there are protests every day without fail. Although the junta armed forces have been doing violent activities in a secretive manner through an internet blackout in over 20 townships of Sagaing Region, the public get to know such news thanks to the efforts of youth. In recent years, the junta army did the same in Rakhine State and committed crimes of genocide. However, they just ended up suffering a great loss due to unity of the people. Therefore, the public needs to fight in unity against the military dictatorship.
