Yangon Region

· Since 8:45 pm Friday, a large number of the junta armed forces raided Damayone street in Myenigone of Sanchaung Township. They then beat and arrested three young people from that street as well as a young man from Zaylam street. Besides this, they opened fire twice in Mapo street and arrested three young people on the corner of Mapo street and Thiri Mingala street. During the arrest in Damayone street, they tied three young people to lamp posts and beat them with the lights off. After that, they arrested them with their hands tied behind their backs.

· In Thaketa Township, there was an explosion near the administration office of Tupayone Ward on Friday night.

· With banners putting a curse of death on the junta leader who was born on 3rd July, a rally of Sanchaung Township General Strike protested against the military dictatorship on Kyaik Wine Pagoda road in Mayangone Township.

· According to the confirmation of a local resident on Saturday morning, the military junta has been tightening security in Dagon Seikkam Township with a large number of armed forces for an unknown reason.

· The youth in North Dagon Township made a “funeral fan strike”, placing fans with the image of three-finger symbol of Spring Revolution and sheets of paper with anti-junta words at the bus-stops in their township. Moreover, some young people made a guerrilla protest with anti-junta posters on the buses running in their township.

· Chanting for the end of the military dictatorship, young residents of Insein Township made a guerrilla protest on Saturday morning.

· The youth and students from Kamayut Township made a guerrilla protest against the military dictatorship near Hledan cross-road. They managed to move away when the junta armed forces arrived there. However, a near-by seller was arrested.

· The youth in South Dagon Myothit Township conducted a mock funeral for the junta leaders and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship.

· At about 9:00 am Saturday, there was an explosion at the junta administration office in Ward (26) of Hlaingthaya Township.

· Young residents of South Okkalapa Township couldn’t carry out a protest at their gathering point as the junta armed forces were in the position. So, they held an indoors strike with anti-junta posters.

· A rally of the youth in Thaketa Township took to the streets and expressed their desire for the downfall of the military dictatorship.

· Amidst tight security measures in Kayan Township after the death of a junta informer, young residents hung a banner at the statue of General Aung San in the downtown area. The banner said - “The junta leader must die”.

· A rally of Yangon Ta-Ka-Tha made a guerrilla protest against the military dictatorship at Kandawle in Mingala Taung Nyunt Township on Saturday evening.

· In Mingala Taung Nyunt Township with evening protests, the junta armed forces inspected young passers-by in front of Shwe Gantgaw tea-shop and took away some mobile phones.

Mandalay Region

· According to the social media post of Myingyan Public Movement Committee, the junta Pyusawti members raided a house in Ward (11) of Myingyan on Friday night and assassinated a Maths teacher named U Moe Hein and his wife. U Moe Hein or U Maung Maung Oo was a member of the NLD. He had also been on the list of 38 people to be assassinated by Myingyan Pyusawti members, issued on 26th June.

· Seven People Defence Force – SPDF announced on Saturday that they would harshly respond to the junta armed Pyusawti members and informers in Myingyan and they had already had a full list of those people.

· The local residents of Myingyan made an indoors strike against the military dictatorship, holding sheets of paper with anti-junta words.

· Ayeyarwady Youth in Madaya made indoors protest with posters of anti-junta slogans.

· Some young residents of Mandalay conducted a photo campaign, holding the photo of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing with a cross and making the symbol of a curse with the middle fingers.

· A rally of Man Variety Forces held a “funeral strike” against the military dictatorship, burning the coffin with a photo of the junta leader.

· A rally of Mandala university students took to the streets and expressed their desire for the end of the military dictatorship.

· A rally of Man Aungmye Thazan Schools took to the streets against the military dictatorship, burning photos of the junta leader and cursing him.

· The youth in Mandalay carried out a “funeral strike” against the military dictatorship, hanging wreaths with name of the junta leader at the handrails beside the moat.

· At about 11:00 am, the junta armed forces arrested two young people on 68 street (between 40 and 41 streets), claiming they were carrying anti-junta images.

· Manlay Pyinyat Monks’ Union peacefully expressed their desire for the release of those who have been unjustly arrested and against the military dictatorship.

· According to the responsible personnel of Man Monks’ Union rally, the junta armed forces made the monks who had been arrested in anti-junta movements leave the monkhood and then beat them during interrogation.

· The local people of Pyin Oo Lwin made a funeral strike against the military dictatorship, setting small signs - “The museum of military dog” and placing photos of the junta leader on coffins.

· In Nyaung Oo Township, local residents of a village conducted a funeral strike against the military dictatorship on the birthday of the junta leader, raising the banner - “Uproot the Fascist Army”.

Bago Region

· The youth in Dike-Oo Township carried out a funeral strike with wreaths containing photos of the junta leader.

· On the birthday of the junta leader, the public in Oat-Pho Township protested against the military dictatorship, with posters putting a curse of a bad death on him.

Sagaing Region

· In Minkin Township, the junta armed forces stationing in Pansat village and Pyusawti groups shot with mortars at the near-by villages. A school teacher in the CDM died in the incident. Moreover, they blindly shot with mortars and machine guns in some villages of Kani Township and thus, a local resident was injured in the arm.

· Due to the battles between local PDFs and the junta armed forces in Minkin Township, the local residents had to run away. They lack medicine and health care. Reportedly, five elderly people lost their lives.

· According to Hti-Gyaint PDF, they, in cooperation with KIA, attacked two military cars at Gwebindaung road section at about 11:30 pm Friday. A military car was burnt, no less than 20 junta soldiers died and many others were injured.

· In Dibeyin Township, there were two battles between 150 junta soldiers and local PDFs in Satpyagyin and Kyundaw villages on Friday. According to Dibeyin PDF, the junta armed forces shot with mortars. As a result of this, 9 PDF members lost their lives, another 10

members were injured and one member was arrested. As for the junta army, they lost 4 soldiers with 7 others injured.

· As the junta armed forces opened fire blindly near Zwe restaurant and the fire department in Dibeyin, a local young resident ran away from the shooting. Reportedly, they arrested him.

· Some young people from Hti-Gyaint Township carried out a “burial strike” and made curses for the death of the junta leader on his birthday which fell on Saturday.

· In Shan-In village of Kalewa Township, the junta armed forces arrested a CDM nurse named Ma Pwint Wai on Friday night.

· On Friday afternoon, there was a fighting between Kawlin PDF and the junta armed forces at Taungpaw village in the east of Kawlin Township. Reportedly, the junta army lost 4 soldiers including two officers. As for the PDF, they had no injuries.

· In Kawlin Township, an unknown group of armed people shot at a car at Zaw Chaung on Friday night. Ko Moe Zaw Aung, the driver of the car, died and his helper was injured in his thigh. They were on their way back from selling pigs.

· In Kawlin District, the youth of Pinlebu made a funeral strike, burning the coffin with words - “Senior General Min Aung Hlaing passed away”.

· In Katha Township, there were battles between KIA and the junta armed forces at Namsam and Namgyan villages from 4:00 am to 6:00 am Saturday.

· A rally comprising various villages from Salingyi North and Yinmabin East travels around the villages every day without fail and expresses their disapproval of the military dictatorship.

· In Salingyi Township, hundreds of protesters from Latbadaung Taung General Strike got together and expressed their desire for the downfall of the military dictatorship.

· Young residents of Kalay made a motorbike protest against the military dictatorship, stepping on photos of the junta leader on the streets.

· Sagaing PDF announced that the junta armed forces had been conducting guerrilla attacks by using ordinary cars. So, they requested the public drivers to lower their car mirror on the roads in the region.

· The youth in Pale Township made a protest against the military dictatorship, holding condoms with photos of the junta leader inside and chanting anti-junta slogans.

· The public in Ye-Oo Township made a Monhinga protest against the military dictatorship, holding signs with curse words against the junta leader on his birthday.

· In Butalin Township, a rally of various villages, led by the monks, expressed their desire for the end of the military dictatorship.

· The people in Monywa expressed their objection to the military dictatorship, scattering pieces of paper with anti-junta words, placing banners with anti-junta slogans and spraying red paint on the streets.

Magwe Region

· Myaing People’s Defense Force announced on Friday that they strongly condemn the oil business owners in Myaing Township who have been paying the military junta and transporting oil with boxer vans while the general public have been protesting against the military dictatorship in various ways. Starting from 2nd July, oil boxer vans are not to pass through the roads and streets in the township. If the business owners fail to follow it and continue to pay the military junta, the PDF will take serious action against them.

· In Myaing Township, local residents of the southern zone made a motorbike protest in the villages and expressed their desire for the downfall of the military dictatorship.

· Reportedly, an appeal would be made for the case of Dr. Aung Moe Nyo, former Chief Minister of Magwe Region, who was sentenced to two years in prison with the charge of Section (505-a).

· The youth in Saw Township made a birthday-curse strike, burning posters of the junta leader.

· On the birthday of the junta leader, young residents of Phuzagone in Yenangyaung conducted a funeral strike against the military dictatorship.

Ayeyarwady Region

· In Pathein, with the excuse of the instruction by the military junta, the personnel in charge of security at Shwe Moattaw pagoda collect personal details of the pilgrims before allowing them to pay homage to the pagoda.

· Young residents of Bogalay made indoors strike against the military dictatorship, making curses for the junta leader on his birthday.

· The youth in Phyapone conducted an indoors strike, holding posters for the death of the junta leader on his birthday and cursing for the end of the military dictatorship.

· Young people in Maubin carried out a guerrilla protest against the military dictatorship, making curses for the death of the junta leader on his birthday.

Taninthayi Region

· The students and the public from Dawei made a funeral strike at dawn, writing words of objection to the junta on a coffin.

· In Longlone Township, Maungmagan villagers made a protest at dawn and expressed their desire for the downfall of the military dictatorship. With banners saying “We will never kneel down before the army dog”, there were rallies against the military dictatorship in Gadat Nge Seik, Thagyattaw, Myawpyin, Nyinmaw and Htaidwin villages.

· In Yebyu Township, the junta armed forces had arrested U Aung Min, former health officer, at his house in Zadi village on 31st May. After that, he had been charged with Section (505-a) for joining the anti-junta movement in the village. Reportedly, he was sentenced to two years in prison.

· A rally of Thayetchaung East went round the township in the evening and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship, carrying out a funeral for the junta leader.

Kachin State

· The military junta has been putting pressure on the staff members who have joined the CDM and who have resigned from Ethnic Youth Development Degree College for the repayment of two-month-salary COVID loans.

· In Putao Township, 30 junta soldiers raided the houses and religious buildings in Tanja village at about 7:00 am Saturday, with the excuse of security. They then took away 5 Tumi guns which were used for hunting. They also robbed of 50,000 Kyat from a shop.

· The youth in Moegaung made a protest against the military dictatorship at dawn, raising Kachin flags and holding signs - “We will never kneel down before your army boots”.

· Amidst tight security measures by the junta armed forces, a rally of multi-ethnic people in Pha-Kant went round the town and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship.

· In Pha-Kant, local residents of Tamakan Myothit expressed their objection to the military dictatorship, burning photos of the junta leaders.

· The youth in Tamakan Haungpa carried out a funeral of the junta leader on his birthday beside Uru river on Saturday evening and made a strike of playing cards.

· On the birthday of the junta leader, the youth in Winemaw chanted “Unhappy Birthday”, carried out a funeral and made a strike by eating Monhinga.

· In Nammati, young residents placed pieces of paper with curses on a coffin containing a photo of the junta leader and protested against the military dictatorship. 

Kayar State

· The youth in Lwaikaw made wreaths with photos of the junta leader, carried out a funeral and conducted a funeral strike against the military dictatorship.

Kayin State

· On the birthday of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, young people in Kawkarait protested against the military dictatorship, singing “Happy Death Day”.

Chin State

· Chinland Defense Force (Central) warned the military junta to stop their activities of dismissing CDM staff members, putting pressure on them to repay COVID loans and making job calls to replace them. They also announced that they would carry out office attacks and individual attacks if the junta continued to do these things.

· On 24th June, the junta armed forces had stopped three cars in Phalan. Those cars had come from Kalay of Sagaing Region, carrying rice for the west of Phalan and Haka in Chin State. They were allowed to go on Friday.

· Chinland Defense Force (Central) announced on Saturday that some Chin MPs had been persuading township CDFs to change into PDFs under the NUG and only then, financial and weapons support would be officially available. They strongly condemned the political party, group and individuals who had been doing such things. They would keep fighting until the public revolution is successful. They would give up arms when the true public government take office. They also warned not to form PDFs in the townships where there were CDFs.

Mon State

· The young students in Theinzayat expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship, laying a wreath with words of death for the junta leader on his birthday.

· The youth in Mawlamyein made indoors strike, holding posters with anti-junta slogans.

· Young residents of Paung Township made a guerrilla protest against the military dictatorship, holding posters - “No chance for you to rule our Paung”.

Shan State

· The military junta has announced that starting from 5th July, COVID-19 tests would be made in Taunggyi by collecting money from the public with the rate of 10000 Kyat per test-taker.

· Taunggyi PDF announced that they already made cooperation with some PDFs in Shan State and they would fight against the junta armed forces when the NUG called for war.

· In Shan State, the military junta dismissed 27 staff members from Farmland Management and Statistics Department for joining the CDM.

· In Kyaukme, there was a poster campaign for the end of the military dictatorship, with photos of the junta leader and anti-junta posters in town. Some young residents also made a guerrilla protest, holding anti-junta posters.

· The youth in Yatsaut made a demonstration of hanging the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship.

· In Namkam, the young people showed their objection to the military dictatorship, sticking photos of the junta leader on balls.

· Young residents of Hopone made a wreath with colourful flowers, placed photo of the junta leader on it and carried out a funeral strike.

Rakhine State

· In Thandwe Township, a group of five people killed 44-year old U Myo Oo, the Sinkaung village administrator, at about 9:00 pm Friday. 

Nay Pyi Taw

· The US added 22 people including the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing, his wife and their children, other military leaders and their children, and 4 companies including Chinese Wanpong, to their sanctions list.

Summary on 3rd July

· There were various funeral strikes all across the country on the birthday of the junta leader. There were protests against the military dictatorships even in the areas without such activities for some time.

· In Yangon, there were many guerrilla protests against the military dictatorship. There were also explosions at some junta administration offices. The military junta continued to conduct arrests by beating people ruthlessly.

· In Mandalay, public protests were ongoing on the streets with great momentum. They even went near the moat where the junta armed forces took security measures. As for the military junta, they made the monks in anti-junta movement leave the monkhood and beat them.

· In other states and regions, there were still public protests. There were battles between local PDFs and the junta armed forces in Sagaing Region, with deaths and injuries on both sides.

· Although the military junta released some anti-junta people, they continued to arrest other people on the other hand. Using Pyusawti members, the military junta conducted counter acts of violence and assassinated some NLD members.
