The National Unity Government (NUG)

· The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) released a statement welcoming Operation 1027 led by the Northern Alliance in cooperation with the revolution forces such as BPLA, PLA and Mdy-PDF in Northern Shan State.

· The Union Prime Minister of the NUG Man Win Khine Than stated that they were really proud of the unwavering determination of the public for 1,000 days since the coup.

· The Union Prime Minister of the NUG claimed that the ethnic revolution forces got started with offensive attacks in various directions for the downfall of the military dictatorship and the establishment of a federal democratic union. He added that the People’s Defence Force (PDF) also brighten their corner in the fight.

· The NUCC called for continuous contribution to the Spring Revolution, which has stepped up wave after wave.

Revolution Activities

· According to Blood Money, 431 local and international revolution forces and civil society organizations sent an open letter signed by over 27,700 Myanmar people to the Government of Singapore. Reportedly, they called for prohibiting the access of the military junta to finance, weapons, military items and aviation oil.

· In Sagaing Region, a combined rally of Salingyi and Yinmabin congratulated the public for taking part in the Spring Revolution.

· In Butalin Township, there was a battle between the junta army and PDF near Zeedaw Village on Friday morning.

· In Minhla Township of Bago Region, Captain Myo San Win, a recruitment officer for the junta army, was shot dead as a part of Nan Htike Aung Military Operation.

· In Tanintharyi Region, an alliance of local PDFs conducted simultaneous attacks on Pyusawti camp in Yaungmaw Village and Thayetchaung Myoma Police Station.

· In Yebyu Township, Dawei District PDF (1) conducted a guerrilla attack on the two junta vehicles on their way back from invading local villages in Nabule Area.

· Somewhere in Mandalay, young people hung an anti-junta banner in commemoration of the 1000 day of the public’s revolution on Sunday morning.

· On Myingyan-Taungtha Road Section, there had been an attack on the junta’s tollbooth. Reportedly, there were more attacks on the junta supporting troops.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

· Karenni National Progressive Party called on all ethnic revolution forces to step up Operation 1027 by the three EAOs of the Northern Alliance.

· According to spokesperson of MNDAA, they managed to take control of 57 junta army camps during Operation 1027.

· On the third day of the Operation 1027, the Northern Alliance gained control of Theinni in Northern Shan State.

· In Nammatu Township of Northern Shan State, the Kachin Independence Army took control of the base camp of the junta army Ka-Ma-Ya (324).

· On the third day of Operation 1027, the MNDAA managed to take control of the junta army camp in the eastern part of Lasho in Shan State. Reportedly, they also caught 3 junta soldiers as prisoners of war.

· In Moegok Township of Mandalay Region, there was fighting between the junta army and Ta’ang National Liberation Army near Upper Nyaunggone Village on Sunday morning.

· According to the MNDAA, 70 junta soldiers, who tried to strengthen their forces via parachute, were cleared off.

· In Htigyaint Township, there were heavy battles between the junta armed forces and a combined force of the KIA + PDF at two locations on Sunday. Reportedly, the junta soldiers carried out aerial bombing twice.

The Military Council

· On Saturday night, U Ye Htut, former Minister of Information, was arrested for his social media posts criticizing the military junta.

· In Northern Shan State, the military junta has lost a number of their camps. On Sunday morning, they conducted bomb attacks on local villages in Kokang Area. Reportedly, many public’s houses were damaged.

· The junta troops, which had arrived on the border of Pekone to invade Karenni State, had to go to Northern Shan State to support their forces.

· In Dakhina Thiri Township of Naypyi Taw, the event on completion of the 7th Pahtan Reciting Ceremony was held at Yanaungmyin Tandaw Monastery in Tadpoe Village.

· The YMBA, a religious and nationalist extremist organization, has ignored the junta’s violence: killing the public and burning local villages. However, they have released statements to please the military junta with a great loss.

· Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, the wife of the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing, was present at the singing competition themed ‘National dignity’ at Myanmar International Convention Center (2) in Naypyidaw.

Summary on 30 October

· The YMBA, established with good objectives initially, has become a religious extremist organization since the military junta took power. They have done for instability and violence in the country.

· The revolution forces have been conducting a military operation in Northern Shan State. Within a few days, they managed to gain control of over 50 army camps and some towns. Despite a great loss of junta soldiers in battles, their headquarters Naypyidaw has been full of funfairs and contests.
