The National Unity Government (NUG)

· According to Pyi District PDF (3602) in Bago Region, Shwetaung Township PDF managed to produce 40mm and M79 launchers.

· U Maung Maung Swe, the Deputy Secretary and Spokesperson of Ministry of Defence-NUG, stated that the junta army camps have run out of weapons as they have been trapped in battles by the PDFs and their alliances all over the country.

· The spokesperson of Ministry of Defence-NUG claimed that the revolution forces managed to block off the junta’s routes for weapons and rations. He added that the items dropped by the military junta via air were confiscated.

· According to Mandalay PDF, they and Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) have been fighting the junta army stationed between Shwe Nyaungbin Village and Ohmmaty Village in Naungcho Township of Northern Shan State. Reportedly, they have also provided medical treatment to the injured soldiers who were caught in battles.

· The PDF Headquarters under Ministry of Defence-NUG stated that over 80 junta soldiers had died in battles by the combined force of PDF and Puwahni Column in Yetashay Township of Eastern Bago Region in October.

· Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) released a statement welcoming the sanctions by the US, the UK and Canada.

Revolution Activities

· In Tanintharyi Township of Tanintharyi Region, 2 soldiers from the junta army Regiment (561) based in Nyaungbingwin Village defected to local PDFs.

· On Wednesday, Bamar People's Liberation Army, which has been joining Operation 1027 by the Northern Alliance, honored four of their members who had lost lives in battles.

· Human Rights Watch welcomed the sanctions of the US on Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise under the military junta.

· In Monywa Township of Sagaing Region, Pyusawti in Tawpu Village shot mortars, injuring 7 people in Kyarpaing Village; 4 women, a child and 2 men.

· In Latyatgone Village of Dibeyin Township, a woman lost her life and 3 people were seriously injured due to the mortars fired by the junta army in Ye-U.

· At 10:00 am Thursday, the junta army arrested 5 men in Natoegyi for their social media post in support of Operation 1027.

· In the east of Madayar Township in Mandalay Region, a troop of 70 junta soldiers set fire to Ngarlonepyun Village.

· In Ngazun Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army left Kyinthar Village after they had faced an attack via drone there.

· In Hpakant of Kachin State, a combined rally of Hpakant, Sengtaung and Hwaykhar conducted an anti-junta movement on Thursday, hanging the banners in support of the Operation 1027.

· The spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that they had been watching the situation of Myanmar. He called for seeking a solution for the security of the borders between the two countries.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

· On Wednesday, United Wa State Army announced that they would counter attack in case of any military invasion in their area on the ground or in the air during local battles in Northern Shan State.

· The TNLA and Mandalay PDF conducted a guerrilla attack on the junta army on their way out of Pyin Oo Lwin on Ohnmatty Road near Naungcho. Reportedly, there has been heavy fighting and the junta’s convoy still cannot move on.

· On the 7th day of Operation 1027 on Thursday, the Northern Alliance has been able to completely control Chinshwehaw, Phaungsai, Theinni and Kyugote (Pengsai).

· In Kyaukgyi Township and Natthangwin of Bago Region, Karen National Defence Organization (3) warned of local staff under the military junta to resign.

The Military Council

· The junta propaganda leader General Zaw Min Tun admitted that they had to let go of Chinshwehaw, Phaungsai and Kyucoat in the Operation 1027 by the Northern Alliance.

· The junta spokesperson stated that Myanmar is an independent country with sovereignty and thus, they would try their best to protect the sovereign areas.

· According to the junta Ministry of Economics and Commerce, the income earned from the export of industrial goods fell short of over a billion USD compared to that of the previous year.

· In the markets of Naypyidaw, the shops which have been sealed off temporarily will be confiscated by the Market Committees.

Summary on 3 November

· The military junta has had to confess that they have had a great loss and they have had to let go of some towns. In other words, their armed forces on the ground might be disorganized.

· The Operation 1027 still has been in great momentum. In addition to complete control over four towns, the revolution forces have been able to influence some other towns and the junta army camps. Consequently, the military junta has had less areas under their control.
