Yangon Region

•  At about 8:00 pm Sunday, the junta armed forces blocked off Mapo street in Myenigone of Sanchaung Township, made inspections in the apartments and arrested three people.
• At about 7:20 pm Sunday, the junta armed forces in a secret patrol told a motorbiker to stop near King Power construction material shop in Western University Road of Hlaingthaya Township. They shot at him as he didn’t stop his motorbike. He died on the spot and his dead body was taken away by junta soldiers.
•  In North Okkalapa Township, a rally of the youth from Sanchaung and North Okkalapa made a guerrilla protest against the military dictatorship.
•  In Konetala Paung village of Mingaladone Township, a group of people who called themselves former soldiers and retired civil servants had been making book sales on Monday morning. Therefore, Mingaladone National Union (MNU) warned the public to be careful.
•  At about 11:00 am, the junta armed forces took security measures with 10 Double Cab cars near Myanmar Examination Office in Latha Township and inspected the passers-by.
• On 15 th March, a group of people in a Hijet car killed a junta informer U Sein Moe and his sons- Aung Moe Hein and Htin Kant Moe Hein at their house in Ward (11) of Shwepaukkan new town in North Okkalapa Township where military rule has been declared. Regarding the case, 6 men and 2 women from 7 families in the ward had been arrested. The other 9 people had been issued warrants. Among those 17 people, 16 were sentenced to the death penalty by the military junta and the other one was sentenced to 7 years in prison.
• Amidst tight security measures, Thaketa Township BEHS (4) Basic Education Students’ Union distributed fliers with the theme to quickly arrest the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing, calling for cooperation and participation of the public in the final battle.

Mandalay Region

• The junta armed forces raided some villages in Madaya Township the previous day and arrested a school teacher from Taungkaung Monastery. Moreover, they raided some other villages in the west of Madaya with 6 military trucks in the afternoon and arrested a Myitkan villager. During their raid, they also robbed valuables and money from the local people.
• At about 9:00 am, an informer to the military junta and a landowner argued about the land between Manlwe street and Shweman street on 49 road in Ward (P) in Pyigyi Dagon Township. The informer had made the land his own and built a house there. The informer called the junta armed forces, who then came and made fire ammunitions. A female passer- by was hit with the bullet in her chest and died. Another man was also injured. They were brother and sister. They were shot while they were on their motorbike.
• A rally of Mandala University students took to the streets, even up to 62 road in the downtown area, on Monday morning and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship.
• A rally of Man youth went around the city and protested against the military dictatorship.
• Amidst patrols by the junta armed forces, the rally of Maha Aungmye People took to the streets and expressed their objection to the military dictatorship.
• Manlay Pyinyat Monks’ Union make wishes, take to the streets and peacefully protest against the military dictatorship every day without fail.
• Aung Pinle General Strike rally went around the town in the afternoon and expressed their desire for the downfall of the military dictatorship.
• In Mandalay, the junta armed forces have been patrolling around Zaycho market with military trucks carrying sandbags. Besides this, they have installed iron bars in the cars transporting the army family members who work outside of the moat, according to the confirmation of a resident at 5:00 pm.
• The public in Madaya Township expressed their objection to the military dictatorship, chanting anti-junta slogans.
• The military junta has allowed around 50 civilians to the shooting field of DSTA in Pyin Oo Lwin. Reportedly, they have been giving shooting lessons.
• In Moegoke, the junta armed forces couldn’t catch Ko Soe Htay who had joined the anti-junta movements. Therefore, they arrested his wife and their 4-year old daughter as hostages and sent them to Moegoke prison. They are in detention even after more than two weeks.
• Young residents of Moegoke made a guerrilla protest against the military dictatorship, holding signs- “Fight for fear”.
• About 50 junta soldiers raided Kyi village of Myingyan Township on Monday morning. Reportedly, they arrested about 20 villagers and released them after beating.

Bago Region

• Rumour has it that there was no PDF in Thegone Township and the social media post about the establishment of Thegone PDF was just a trick of the military junta to arrest the youth. It still needs to be confirmed.
• At the high school in Htone Gyi village of Bago Township, 35 students caught COVID19 through the two female teachers who had tested COVID-19 positive.

Ayeyarwady Region

• At about 10:00 pm Sunday, some unknown people set fire to Thabaung check-point at the entrance of Bogalay. Half of the building was burnt and damaged.

Sagaing Region

• According to Htigyaint PDF, they, in cooperation with KIA, attacked a convoy of three military trucks on Mingun mountain range road in Htigyaint Township of Katha District on the evening of 26 th June. No less than 14 junta soldiers died and more than 7 other junta soldiers were injured. As for the cooperative forces, they had no injury.
• Kalay residents made a protest against the military dictatorship on Monday morning, holding signs- “We will win”.
• About 40 junta soldiers tried to arrest U Tun Wai, who runs an automobile repair shop in Ward (3) of Htaut Gyant village of Kalay. As they didn’t find him, they arrested his wife Daw Aye Aye Myint and their daughter Ma Hnin Ei Ei San as hostages.
• The junta armed forces stopped the motorbikers at the entrance of Htoma village near Kalay on Monday morning. They checked the toolboxes of the motorbikes as well as mobile phones.
• In Kalay, there was an explosion behind Myanmar Shay Saung Bank on Bogyoke road on Monday afternoon. Reportedly, some nearby houses shook due to the explosion. At about 3:00 pm, there was another explosion near the combining office of general administration where there were security measures by the junta armed forces.
• In Butalin, the monks and the general public went round the township and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship.
• According to the announcement of Committee Representing Sagaing Hluttaw (CRSH on Monday), the junta courts in Sagaing Region turn a blind eye to the rights of citizens and unjustly sentence political party members, the public in the CDM, monks, students and media people. Therefore, they must be held accountable for their action. CRSH will connect with necessary organizations and take action against them.
• At about 7:30 am Monday, there was an explosion at Monywa-Amyint divergent point in Monywa Township. Reportedly, a junta policeman was injured in his face and died. A civilian also got small injuries in his arm, left thigh and belly.
• At about 9:30 am Monday, the dead body of a man was found in Chindwin river near Monywa South jetty in Monywa Township. His hands had been tied at his back. During this week, 3 dead bodies have been taken out of Chindwin river.
• At about 9:00 am Monday, U Kyaw Swe Oo, regarded to be an informer to the military junta, was shot dead by two on motorbikes in front of his house in Chaungsone village of Tantsi Township.
• On Monday morning, two Minkin PDF members managed to take away the weapons from two members of the junta armed forces in charge of security measures at Minkin Township General Hospital. Reportedly, they have now been in a safe place.
• At about 7:30 am, two motorbikers dropped a bomb in front of the military-backed USDP office at the top of Pyidawtha (4) street in Shwebo Township. Due to the explosion, a motorbike taxi driver died and another one got injured.
• In Yedwe village of Kantbalu Township, the military junta has appointed a 60-year old man named U Than Hlaing to be the village administrator. They have also permitted 25 USDP members to officially carry Tumi guns. As those people have been conducting violence, young villagers have to run away.
• At a village in the west of Chindwin river in Salingyi Township, the residents made a protest against the military dictatorship.

Magwe Region

In Khinmon village of Yezagyo Township, the junta armed forces arrested Ko Min Ko due to a report of the informers that he had weapons. He was a photographer in Yangon.

In Aungban village of Yezagyo Township, the sound of five gunshots came at about 8:00 pm Sunday and U Nyunt Tin, said to be an informer to the military junta and a Pyusawti member, was found dead. Yezagyo PDF announced on Monday morning that they had cleared him as he failed to follow their warnings.

Taninthayi Region

• In Dawei, there was a fire at Sinsait Ward administration office on Yay street on Sunday night and an office room was damaged. The opening ceremony of that office was to be held on Monday.
• Holding flaming torches, Dawei young residents in black showed their sorrow for the people who lost lives due to the military junta and protested against the military dictatorship on Monday evening.
• In Longlone Township, Nyinmaw villagers wore red hats and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship. In some villages like Gadat Nge and Yebyu, there were rallies against the military dictatorship.
• In Yebyu Township, residents of Kanbauk expressed their desire for the downfall of the military dictatorship, holding signs- “The junta must surely fall”.
• In Thayetchaung Township, the public from Thingyun village protested against the military dictatorship, holding signs- “We will never be silent”.

Kachin State

• At about 10:00 pm on 25 th June, a large number of the junta armed forces raided AW restaurant on Ywet Hla street in Paukkone of Bamaw Township and arrested more than 10 young people. They have now been released on bail.
• In Naungmon Township, the junta-appointed community leader sued three priests who had led a well-wishing event for peace in the country on 31 st March, accusing them of having contact with KIA. On Monday morning, those priests were taken to court in Putao.
• Putao District informer-clearance group made warning letters with bullets, telling those who have been putting pressure on CDM staff members and the public against the military junta, to stop their actions, not to do unlawful activities, not to report by relying on one organization and to leave town with their family members.
• Amidst tight security measures by the junta armed forces, the public from Lonekhine group in Pha-Kant went around the village and expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship.
• On behalf of the teachers who have joined the CDM, Winemaw Teachers’ Committee made some requests to two financial organizations of the education family.

Kayah State

• In Pharuso Township, the military junta dismissed 526 education staff members who have joined the CDM.
• Moebyel Village Peace and Stability Committee was established for the physical, mental and social rehabilitation of residents.

Kayin State

• At about 8:00 pm Sunday, a telecom tower of the military-owned Mytel was exploded and damaged in Ward (2) of Kyaukbalu village in Winyaw area of Kyainseikgyi Township.
• In Myawady on the Myanmar-Thai border, there were four explosions near the district administration office where there were tight security measures, between 7:00 pm and 12:00 am. It is still unknown about injury as the explosions happened during the curfew hour.
• KNU announced that 70 junta soldiers had taken away 13 villagers from Nyaunglebin District on 23 rd June to make them work by force. Three villagers escaped on the way and the other ones were released between Tha Htone and Nyaunglebin districts on 27 th June.
• Amidst the heavy rain in Phaya Thonesu, local people made a protest against the military dictatorship, raising Kayin flags.

Chin State

• According to Indian media, more than 700 Myanmar people entered Mizoram State of India during the week. So far, there have been more than 10000 Myanmar IDPs in that state.
• In Mindat where military rule has been declared, Mindat Myoma Market will be opened for a day on 29 th June for buyers and shopkeepers.
• In Phalan Township, the junta armed forces stationed at the village school of Parmon Chaung on Monday morning. So, the residents had to run away.

Mon State

• In Yay Township, U Win Soe Myint, junta-appointed administrator of Hnin Sone village, had been arrested by a group of people on Sunday night. He was found dead with a gunshot wound on the roadside of Yay-Mawlamyein on Monday morning.
• Residents of Mawlamyein made indoors strike with anti-junta words.
• In Bilin Township, the junta armed forces, in cooperation with Border Guard Force, blocked off the streets in Nagyi village of Shwe Laungin village group on Monday morning and took away 6 cars and 60 motorbikes of the locals for no apparent reason.

Shan State

• At about 7:00 pm Sunday, the township officer of the junta land registration office in Maikai of Shan South was shot by two motorbikers while he was talking to another person in front of the office. He was hit with four bullets. He has been receiving medical treatment for his injuries at Maikai hospital.
• On the evening of 24 th June, 10 packets of poppy were caught in the car of Mountain Youth Social Group established by the military-backed USDP, at Yeya checkpoint in Kalaw Township of Shan South. Reportedly, the state military junta has instructed the police station to conceal the news.
• The number of COVID-19 transmitted cases is on the rise in Lasho and stay-at-home has been declared there. So, all the schools will be temporarily closed starting from Monday. All the other junta offices will operate with half of the staff members.
• In Namkam, an explosion happened while 1000 residents were protesting against SSPP/SSA at noon. Due to the explosion, one person died and another three were injured.
• The youth in Thipaw made indoors protest, holding anti-junta posters.

Rakhine State

• In Sittwe, U Zaw Win Tun, former chair of APP, was arrested by 6 armed people in front of Ohtan primary school in the afternoon while he was sending his daughter to the school.

Nay Pyi Taw

• In Myanmar, there were 783 new cases of COVID-19 within 24 hours, with the most of 109 positive cases in Nay Pyi Taw Zabuthiri where the military junta has been taking office.

Summary on 28 th June

• In Yangon, there were still guerrilla protests as well as the deaths of some people due to ruthless firings of the junta armed forces. There were also tight security measures with mobile patrols and secret patrols in the townships where there were explosions.
•  In Mandalay, there were still public protests on the streets. As the junta armed forces opened fire, an innocent woman lost her life. After the fighting in the city, the military junta has raised the security level of not only the military trucks but also the cars of army family
• members.
• In Sagaing Region, there were frequent battles between local PDFs and the junta armed forces. The military junta had a great loss there. They also permitted USDP members to carry weapons.
• In other states and regions, the public protests were still in a great momentum. Although there were protests in some areas with a high rate of COVID-19 positive cases, only a few people joined them.
•  While trying for the economic operation in the country, the military junta has been confronted with pressure due to the high rate of COVID-19 infection.
• There are more and more COVID-19 transmitted cases at schools which the military junta has thoughtlessly reopened. Consequently, all the schools have to be closed in some towns. There are still continuous protests and armed revolution in the country. So, they have been conducting arrests with the help of their informers.
