The National Unity Government (NUG)

· In Pale Township of Sagaing Region, the focal person for local humanitarian affairs and the local administration provided help to 5 people who had run away from Zee Phyu Gone Village under the junta’s Pyusawti Militia.

· In Pakkoku District of Magwe Region, the PDF members actively took part in the movement on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

· In Myaung Township, 210 people from 5 local villages were provided with 90,000MMK each. On Saturday, local people’s administration and humanitarian affairs gave a total amount of 18,900,000MMK.

· In Minkin Township of Sagaing Region, local people’s administration warned non-CDM staff to stop their operation and join the public by 31 December at the latest. They added that they would take action against those who fail to do so.

Revolutionary Activities

· In Sagaing Township of Sagaing Region, the a PDF flag was raised in the compound of the junta’s forestry department in the Minkun Area.

· In the south of Kalay Township, local PDFs arrested some junta soldiers who had run away from the battle to seize the junta army camp in Yangyi Aung Village.

· In Phaungbyin Township, junta members ran away from Yeauktaung Village due to an attack by PDFs.

· In Kani Township, there might have been over 20 casualties among junta soldiers in the battle to seize the junta army camp on the Monywa-Yargyi-Kalay Road.

· In Yay Township of Mon State, a junta sergeant from the police station in Kawzar Sub-Township defected to a local guerrilla force.

· In Longlone Township of Tanintharyi Region, there was a movement on Saturday in commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

· In Longlone Township, the junta army burnt people’s houses and motorbikes in Thabyay Shaung Village at about 11:00 am on 23 November.

· In Namkham Township of Northern Shan State, the military junta conducted an air strike on Sunday morning, causing casualties among civilians.

· In South Korea, My Duty (Ramrian), a movie about the Chin revolution, was shown at Lotte Cinema at Bupyeong Station at 11:30 am Sunday.

· In Myaing Township of Magwe Region, the junta army shot mortars into Tanbonetaw Village. Reportedly, 3 people were killed.

Ethnic Armed Organisations (EAOs)

· In Nabu Township of the Kawthoolei Administrative Area under Karen National Union Brigade (7), an event was conducted on Saturday to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

· According to the Kokang, 5 Myanmar friendship organisations gave 5,000 lakh MMK to sustain the great momentum of Operation 1027 by the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army and its allies.

· In Karenni State, 15 junta soldiers defected to the Karenni revolutionary forces in the battle to seize the town of Loikaw.

· In Mindat, a local CDF attacked the junta army stationing at the maternal and child welfare office on Sunday morning. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died and 3 others were injured.

· At the Asia World Gate entrance to the town of Muse in Northern Shan State, there was heavy fighting between the junta army and the Three Brotherhood of the Northern Alliance at about 6:00 am on Sunday.

· In Theinni Township of Northern Shan State, the Northern Alliance took control of the junta armed forces based in Namzalat Village. Reportedly, they also confiscated a junta armoured vehicle, heavy weapons and other ammunition.

· In Namkham Township of Northern Shan State, the junta army dropped bombs from fighter jet onto Manaung Village. According to the Ta’ang National Liberation Army, the local hospital was hit and damaged.

· On the China-Myanmar border, the MNDAA gained control of Kyin San Kyauk border trade gate and raised the flag of Kokang.

The Military Council

· Via the junta’s propaganda Telegram channels, the military junta has been spreading a fake statement that the NUG called for the swift release of education staff and their families arrested by the Karenni Combined Forces in the battle to seize Loikaw.

· Under the invitation of China, a junta’s delegation led by the junta’s deputy minister of Economics and Commerce joined the 2023 Sichuan-Chongqing & Mekong Countries Sub-National Cooperation Forum.

· The junta propaganda leader claimed that the TNLA, the MNDAA and the AA blew up the China-Myanmar gas pipeline in Northern Shan State.

· The junta propaganda team stated that it was just a rumour that government employees had to join military training. It happened because they were collecting a list of government employees in Naypyi Taw

· Myanmar has been identifying and transferring illegal foreign migrants in border areas. On Saturday, they handed over 815 Chinese citizens to Chinese authorities.

Summary on 27 November

· In battles throughout the country, many junta towns and camps have been seized. Junta soldiers have defected to revolutionary forces in various regions. There might be more cases like that when the revolution steps up to another level.

· The military junta might face a loss in border trade as the border trade gates have been seized. Consequently, they might earn less tax and income from imports and exports.
