The National Unity Government (NUG)

· In Kayin State, an alliance of revolution forces attacked the junta army invading towards Hsinnagaung Monastery in Inn Village between Kawkarait Township and Kyonedoe. According to the Military Headquarters under Ministry of Defence-NUG, 10 junta soldiers died and 20 others were injured.

· With the aid of Fixwing Technology, Mandalay District Regiment (4) and General Z Power (GZP MDY) have been attacking the junta troops and pillars.

· In cooperation with Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG, the revolution forces have been conducting a humanitarian exchange from 23 to 26 September.

· According to the Ministry of Women, Youth and Children-NUG, the team led by the female focal person of Khin-U Township fed chicken broth to the teachers and students at schools in Kalarlu Village and Tamoat Village.

· There was a meeting between the Interim Judiciary Department under the Ministry of Judiciary Affairs-NUG and the judges from township courts.

· According to Southern Military Region of the NUG, a combined force of Karen National Union attacked the secret camp of the junta army based in Yay Township of Mon State.

Revolution Activities

· In Hommalin Township of Sagaing Region, there has been heavy fighting between local PDFs and the junta army + Shanni National Army. Reportedly, no less than 20 junta members died in a local battle on Sunday whereas 9 members of the PDF got injured.

· On Monday, a combined rally of Salingyi and Yinmabin marched in support of U Kyaw Moe Tun to remain as Myanmar’s Ambassador to the United Nations.

· In Japan, a large number of the audience watched the revolution movie - ‘The Way’, earning the fund worth over 1000 lakh MMK.

· In Bangkok, Thailand, Myanmar people conducted a protest in front of the UN Office, showing their disapproval of the junta’s tax law which would collect 10% of their income in foreign currency.

· In Gantgaw Township of Magwe Region, There was a bomb attack via drone on junta soldiers and Pyusawti members stealing the public’s belongings in Shwebo Village. Reportedly, 2 junta members died.

· In Tanintharyi of Tanintharyi Region, there was a mine attack on the junta gate and the junta troop near the General Statue. Reportedly, 3 junta soldiers died.

· In Myaing Township of Magwe Region, there were bomb attacks via drone on the junta’s Northern Gate and the junta Immigration Office. The local PDF also conducted an attack by car.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

· In Myitkyina of Kachin State, a combined force of Kachin Independence Army and the KPDF conducted an attack using missiles on the junta air force (503). Reportedly, 2 F-7 fighter jets were damaged.

· In Yebyu Township of Taninthayi Region, Naing Chan, the leader of Yarmanya Force, was shot dead in Alesakan Village on Sunday morning.

· In Hpakant Township of Kachin State, a combined force of the KIA and the KPDF attacked and took control of the junta’s military security office in Sengtaung Village at about 4:00 am Monday.

· In Kawkarait Township of Kayin State, the junta army fired shells into local villages and set fire to the public’s houses.

· In Nyaunglebin District of Bago Region, the junta army shot mortars into local villages. According to Karen National Union, 4 people got injured and a house was damaged.

The Military Council

· At Chinese Security Conference, the junta Chief Police Officer called for global, regional and bilateral cooperation for powerful arms like drone not to reach terrorists.

· According to the junta’s Power Supply Department, there will be an 8-hour power outage a day in the Eastern, Northern and Southern Yangon due to load shedding.

· According to the junta Ministry of Economics and Commerce, online shops must register starting on 2 October and they can do so free of charge until the end of December.

· According to the junta Minister of Immigration and Population, they will soon allow travelling across the China-Myanmar Border with a passport.

· According to the invitation of Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the delegation led by the junta Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation joined 2023 Global Forum on Soil Health on 19 and 20 September.

· According to the junta propaganda media, the military junta sent the junta soldiers who had recovered from their injury to Chaungtha Beach in Ayeyarwady Region for relaxation.

Summary on 26 September

· With fear for drone attacks by the revolution forces, the military junta asked for help from China. They also had to motivate a large number of their injured soldiers to the beach for relaxation.

· The military junta issued the laws, posing difficulties for small self-employers and those who would work in China by going there daily.
