The National Unity Government (NUG)

· In Mon State, there were local battles between an alliance of revolution forces and the junta armed forces for three days. According to the PDF Headquarters under Ministry of Defence-NUG, 6 junta soldiers died.

· In Mon State, a combined force of Karen National Liberation Army attacked the junta army based in Yay Township.

· The Federal Wings, a drone force fighting in the areas under Karen National Union Brigade (3), (6), (1) and some areas in Sagaing Region, reported to the public about their long-range operation and the test of a monitor drone.

Revolution Activities

· On Saturday, ‘The Way’, a movie directed by vocalist Linn Linn, was shown in Tokyo of Japan. Reportedly, over 1,400 tickets were sold and the cinema was filled with the audience.

· In Chauk of Magwe Region, there was a grenade attack on the junta Myoma Police Station in town on Saturday afternoon.

· In Myaing Township, two people and a PDF member lost their lives in Oyin Village within two days due to the junta army.

· In Longlone Township of Tanintharyi Region, there was a public campaign at a village market on Sunday morning to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the Saffron Revolution.

· In the town of Pala in Pulaw Township, the junta army arrested over 10 people for no apparent reason.

· In California of the United States, Myanmar community marched at Civic Center Plaza on Sunday to express their desire for U Kyaw Moe Tun to remain as Myanmar’s Ambassador to the United Nations.

· In Usan of South Korea, there was a football match to raise funds for the revolution, along with a rally against the military coup in Myanmar, on Sunday.

· The Foreign Ministers from four member states of the QUAD released a statement, calling for an end to violence in Myanmar and the release of all the unlawfully-arrested people.

· At the United Nations General Assembly, the Prime Minister of Malaysia stated that it was a deep concern for Myanmar given the ongoing violence.

· In Sagaing Region, a combined rally of Salingyi and Yinmabin marched for U Kyaw Moe Tun to remain as Myanmar’s Ambassador to the UN.

· In Yinmabin Township, Mayangone Township Students’ Union supplied exercise books to a school for displaced children.

· In Yinmabin Township, a local rally of ‘Let’s not step back in this revolution’ protested against the military dictatorship on Sunday.

· In Shwebo Township, there was a mine attack on a junta troop on Shwebo-Kyaukmyaung Road. Reportedly, 12 junta soldiers including a captain died.

· In Khin-U Township, the junta army has been invading the area since 22 September. Reportedly, the PDFs conducted a mine attack, killing 3 junta soldiers.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

· In Hpapun District under Karen National Union (KNU), the junta army has been supplying arms and rations to their forces via air. According to the KNU Brigade (5), they attacked the junta helicopter force.

· In the area under the KNU Brigade (5), there were three battles. According to Mutraw District Newsletter, 2 junta soldiers died.

· In Matupi Township of Chin State, 2 junta soldiers defected to the local CDF along with bullets and grenades.

The Military Council

· In Muse of Northern Shan State, there was friendly fire among the junta security forces in a chase for a group of car thieves in Mantwe Ward. Reportedly, a policeman was injured.

· According to the junta newspaper on Sunday, there will be full power supply to Southern Myanmar upon completion of the Kankaung 500KV Sub-Power Station Project.

· According to Yangon City Bank, it was just a rumour that the mobile money services like KBZ Pay and Wave Pay will stop. The bank just suspended their transfer services.

· According to the junta Ministry of Education, they will collect a survey of illiterate people throughout the country.

· According to the junta Ministry of Trade and Commerce, the trade volume in the five and a half months of the current fiscal year was almost halved compared to that of the same period last year.

Summary on 25 September

· The military junta claimed that they would provide electricity fully to the southern part of the country upon completion of the Kankaung 500KV Power Project. In reality, they are not as good as their word.

· Along with the revolution in great momentum, the revolution forces have been able to take control of the junta army camps one after another. On the other hand, there have been casualties among PDF members, along with insufficient weapons.
