The National Unity Government (NUG)

· Mandalay Drone Force called for contributions to Fixed Wings, which is worth 30 lakh MMK per plane. For those who donate fully for a drone, the names they desire will be written on the body of the plane. Reportedly, it is a part of the Shwe Pyi Soe Operation.

· Somewhere in the area under the influence of Tanintharyi PDF under Ministry of Defence-NUG, they completed a military refresher course. Reportedly, Naing Kaung Ywet, Deputy Minister of Defence-NUG, sent a statement there.

· In Magwe Region, No. (1) PDF Supervisory Office led the completion of arms equipment training (Batch 7).

· Through local administrative teams and focal persons, Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG has been providing support to the displaced people in Sagaing Region.

· According to Taungnyo Column, 2 junta soldiers died and 2 others got injured in the battle on Yay-Thanphyu Zayat Road on Sunday.

· According to the End of Dictatorship, they have earned over 3 million USD from the Federal Stream Housing Project near Defence Service Technological Academy in Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Region.

· The Acting President of the NUG called for the need to listen to the public’s voice and try the best to uproot the military junta.

Revolution Activities

· In Yemabin Township of Sagaing Region, there was a guerrilla attack on a junta troop contingent of about 180 soldiers near Yeaut Village. Reportedly, no less than 10 junta soldiers died.

· At the entrance to Butalin, local PDF fired mortars on the junta army gate on Kyaungpan Divergent Point at about 1:00 pm Sunday.

· In Dibeyin Township, there were bomb attacks via drone on the junta army invading the area. Reportedly, there might have been casualties among junta soldiers.

· In the western part of Shwebo Township, there were attacks on Pyusawti in Jomyezin Village and Panyan Village, causing casualties among junta members.

· The S&C Social Group has been building houses for the fire victims in Shwebo and Monywa District. Reportedly, the number of houses will soon reach 1,000.

· In Shwebo Township, the junta army killed 3 people from Bonebwet Village.

· In Myinmu Township and Myaung Township, there were bomb attacks via drone on the junta army camps and police stations.

· According to Blood Money, they will conduct global campaigns from 25 to 31 October to put pressure on the government of Singapore to prohibit the sale of weapons to the military junta and their financial expenditure.

· In Yesagyo Township of Magwe Region, a combined force of local PDFs attacked the junta ships carrying timber on the Chindwin River on Sunday morning.

· In Pakkoku Township, there was a mine attack on a junta convoy on Pakkoku-Kamma Road. Reportedly, 7 junta soldiers died.

· In Hmawbi Township of Yangon Region, there was an attack via projectiles on the junta air force on Sunday night. Reportedly, there was a large amount of damage in the incident.

· In Minhla Township of Bago Region, local PDF conducted a guerrilla attack on a junta troop which had arrested local people in Bago Mountain Range.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

· In Titain Township of Chin State, a soldier from the junta’s Thein Ngin Camp defected to CDF – Civic Defense Militia (CDM – Siyin).

· In Kyaukgyi or Ledo Township under Karen National Union Brigade (3), the KNU conducted the training on preventive measures against air strikes and heavy artillery to the local people.

The Military Council

· In Kachin State and Shan State, a combined force of Kachin Independence Army took control of two junta army camps. To get back their camps, the military junta has been fighting hard with the support of the air force.

· According to the junta Internal Revenue Department, they will carry out tax clearance recommendation for PJ and PS passports in 4 townships of Yangon and 2 townships of Mandalay.

· The junta Mandalay City Development Council will inspect and take action against the sellers without permit around Mandalay Moat starting from the last week of October.

· Reportedly, all the pearl lots were sold out at the 2023 Mid-Year Gems Emporium (2023) held at Mani Yadanar Jade Hall in Naypyidaw.

· In Lammadaw Township of Yangon Region, a delegation led by the Chair of Foreign Relations Committee under the government of Saint Petersburg of Russia met with business people at the UMFCCI Hall on Monday.

· In Taunggyi of Shan State, the junta leader paid respects to Oxford Sayardaw at Shan State Buddhist University.

Summary on 24 October

· Over the period of nearly three years after the coup, the public still have been protesting against the military junta led by Min Aung Hlaing. They have also been contributing to the anti-junta PDFs.

· Currently, there are frequent battles. As the dry season is drawing near, the junta army may conduct counter attacks and thus, the revolution forces and the public must do their preparations in advance.
