The National Unity Government (NUG)

· On Tuesday afternoon, Daw Zin Mar Aung, the Union Minister of Foreign Affairs- NUG, met with Mr.Kaieda Banri, Vice-Chair of Japanese Upper Parliament, and Mr.Nakahama Hiroyuki, Vice-Chair of the Japanese Lower Parliament.

· On Monday, the Ministry of Education- NUG presented to the Committee Representing the Pyitaungsu Hluttaw about the necessary procedures for entrance to interim universities via Myanmar’s education system and respective university platforms.

· According to the NUG, 34 junta soldiers and police have joined the People’s Embrace Committee since Operation 1027 got started. Reportedly, 22 of them have been sent to safe places and the same arrangements have been made for 12 others.

· On Wednesday, Karenni State Interim Administration announced that it would take action against the junta’s pilot Colonel Khine Thant Moe.

· The Acting President of the NUG Duwa Lashi La stated that it is necessary for all new political wings in the Spring Revolution not to deviate from the principles of Federal Democracy Charter.

Revolutionary Activities

· In Madayar Township of Mandalay Region, there was a bomb attack via drone on a junta troop. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died.

· In Ngazun Township, the two vehicles carrying junta soldiers were faced with a mine attack while they were engulfed in mud. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died.

· In Myingyan Township, there was a mine attack on the two junta’s support vehicles on their way to the force in Kaing Village. Reportedly, 2 junta members died.

· In Shwebo District of Sagaing Region, local PDFs attacked the junta camp in Shwe Pangone Village on Tuesday morning. Reportedly, they set it on fire.

· In Yangon, the number of cases has increased in which the military junta targets youths for arrest. In November, about 300 young people were captured.

· After the drone attack on Kalay Airport, all the battles were suspended indefinitely.

· The two PDF members, who had joined the junta army, killed 3 members of the junta militia including the former MP of the Union Solidarity and Development Party in Tamu. They then rejoined thePDF.

· In Hommalin Township and Phaungpyin Township, local PDFs warned local people to take military caution due to ongoing fighting in the areas.

· In Taze, the PDFs attacked the junta armed forces stationing at the governmental departments on Wednesday morning.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

· In Titain Township of Chin State, PDF Zoland caught 12 junta soldiers including a colonel who had run away in the battle to seize their camp on the top of Canady Mountain.

· In Northern Shan State, there were battles between the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the junta armed forces in Hsipaw, Namkham and Lashio on Wednesday morning. Reportedly, the military junta has been carrying out severe aerial attacks.

· In Pauktaw Township of Rakhine State, the Arakan Army managed to rescue about 100 monks and people who had been arrested by the junta army and used as human shields for 6 days.

· According to a communications officer of the United Wa State Army, about 40,000 people have had to run away from battles in Northern Shan State within a month.

· In Falam Township of Chin State, the junta army withdrew from Tinshu Camp. On Wednesday, the Chin National Organization released an emergency warning to local people about the cases of people being abused as human shields and they called on people not to travel on the Falam-Kalay Road Section.

The Military Council

· The military junta issued warrants to 400 people including 146 locals of Maungtaw, accusing them of being associated with the Arakan Army.

· In Winemaw Township and Myitgyina Township of Kachin State, the junta’s Shwe Min Militia has been recruiting. Consequently, Lisu youth have had to run away.

· According to the junta’s Economics and Commerce, the trade volume on Myanmar-Thai border in the 7 months of the current fiscal year decreased for over 140 million USD compared with that of the same period last year.

· The junta propaganda leader claimed that there were no abductions in Yangon and that PDFs had arrested teachers from Loikaw University.

Summary on 23 November

· It is crystal clear that the junta propaganda leader Major General Zaw Min Tun has been telling lies to the public. Since time immemorial, the army has been spreading propaganda and making a lot of trouble for the people. Consequently, the public does not trust them.

· The revolution still has great momentum. In Sagaing Region, the junta armed forces have decreased. Subsequently, the PDFs have been able to easily seize their camps.
