The National Unity Government (NUG)

· In cooperation with Karen National Liberation Army, Federal Wings conducted bomb attacks on Natgyi Camp belonging to the junta’s BGF in Thatone District of Mon State.

· At 1:00 pm Tuesday, there was a meeting (18/2023) between the NUG Central Committee on the Interim Public Administration and Township People’s Administration Teams from Yangon Region.

Revolution Activities

· Malaysia called for cooperation between the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and ASEAN for help with the humanitarian crisis facing the Rohingya.

· In Kyaikto Township of Mon State, there was an attack on the junta army on secret patrol on the crossroads near Yangon-Mawlamyein Road. Reportedly, 5 junta soldiers died.

· On Tuesday, two Singaporean people were sentenced to pay a fine for illegally having sold sonar equipment and survey drones to Myanmar’s military junta.

· More than 130 Malaysian Mps called for the immediate medical treatment of the doctors outside of prison for State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.

· In Tamu of Sagaing Region, there were attacks on the junta inspection gate for two days. Reportedly, 4 junta soldiers died.

· In Minkin Township, a junta vessel sank. Reportedly, a large number of junta soldiers and Pyusawti families died.

· On Wednesday, a combined rally of Salingyi and Yinmabin marched for U Kyaw Moe Tun to remain as Myanmar’s Ambassador to the United Nations.

· In Pale Township, the junta armed forces have been invading local villages. Consequently, over 5000 people from 8 villages have had to run away.

· In Chauk of Magwe Region, there was a grenade attack as a warning at the junta Municipal Department demanding money from the public.

· In Natoegyi Township of Mandalay Region, there was a bomb attack on the junta army stationing in Nyaungbintha Village. Reportedly, 4 junta soldiers died.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

· In Moegok, Muse and Kutkhine Townships, there were 7 battles between the junta army and Ta’ang National Liberation Army on Tuesday. Reportedly, the military junta had a great loss.

· In Kayin State, 2 soldiers from the junta army Regiment (44) based in Wawlay defected to Karen National Union along with their weapons.

· According to the Karen Women’s Organization, the displaced women in the areas under the KNU have been in need of healthcare including their monthly periods.

The Military Council

· According to local people, the junta’s ships carrying rations and weapons still have been docked at Shweku in Kachin State.

· In Tanintharyi Township of Taninthari Region, the junta army shot mortars into Bawdikan Village at about 2:00 pm Tuesday. Reportedly, 2 monks were injured.

· According to the junta newspapers, the military junta revoked the license of holding foreign currency from many travel agencies and companies including the Sedona Hotel.

· On Wednesday morning, there was a bomb explosion in front of the municipal office. Reportedly, the junta soldiers and the members of their militias blocked off the streets for inspection.

· On Tuesday, the military exercise of ASEAN started in Indonesia. Reportedly, a junta delegation joined it.

· The military junta just wants to control foreign currency by themselves. They might close down all the exchange counters of the USD throughout the country.

· Based on the arguments for self-interest, the military junta has conducted arrests among themselves. They have also been disorganized with a great loss in military affairs and the economy.
