National Unity Government (NUG)

  • The secretary of the Ministry of Defense for the NUG, U Naing Htoo Aung said that Generation Z’s innovative power can invent weapons within a few months although it, in fact, would take several years.
  • The NUG announced that there had been 36 deaths of SAC soldiers on February 13 during the People Defensive War.

Revolution Activities

  • A USDP office in south Dagon Myothit Township, Yangon, was attacked with a hand grenade by the SSUG PDF on February 14 afternoon, according to the SSUG PDF.
  • Students from All Burma Federation of Student Unions protested against the military junta, holding posters and burning copies of the 2008 Constitution.
  • According to locals, a parcel bomb exploded at the High Class bus express service in Aung Mingalar Highway Bus Station, Mingalardon Township, Yangon early this morning.
  • The Yangon Revolution Force-YRF (Soft Strike Community) went on a protest march asking for Telenor to stop selling Telenor Myanmar to the military junta, on Kabaraye Pagoda Road, Yangon on February 13 evening.
  • Dictator Revolt Front (D.R.F) stated that they attacked the junta army inspection camp (9) in front of Aung Mingalar Highway Bus Station in Mingalardon Township, Yangon.
  • People from several villages from the east of Yinmarpin and the north of Salingyi, Sagaing went on strike against the violent military junta on February 14.
  • The main protest rally of the Monywa, Sagaing strike held anti-junta banners in a crowded market in Monywa on February 14 to fight for the military regime.
  • At Monywa-Ahmyint roadside in Sagaing Division, youths led a motorbike strike against the military junta on February 13, the 107th birthday of General Aung San.
  • A car carrying SAC troops and Pyu Saw Htee thugs in it was attacked by a series of mines, killing one soldier and seriously injuring another two at Kanthar street, Ye-U township, Sagaing.
  • In Depayin, Sagaing, the locals went on a protest march, holding anti-junta banners on February 13.
  • Latpandaung Taung General Strike of and the Students Union of Monywa University held a one-night strike against the fascist military in Salingyi, Sagaing on February 13.

  • The rally of Kalay led by women went on strike against the violent junta on February 14.
  • In Kalay township, Sagaing Region, the drug dealers were reportedly arrested by Kalay PDF, Kalay police forces and Nat Chaung People Defence Force on February 11 and 12.
  • According to locals, the NLD party office in Depayin township was set on fire by the junta forces at 11 p.m. on February 13.
  • A man related to the military was shot dead by an unknown armed man on February 13 morning in Nayng Pin Won village beside Mandalay-Monywa highway in Sagaing township, Sagaing Region.
  • In Chaungsone village, Taze township, Sagaing Region, a female worker on a bean plantation was shot dead, according to locals.
  • The police force guard room was attacked with a hand grenade by Monywa Mone Taing guerrillas near a home for the aged roundabout, in Sagaing Region.
  • The upstream and downstream waterways services were told not to travel along Chindwin river from 10:30p.m. February 14 until 6 o’clock next morning, stated the local Minkin PDF.
  • A police sergeant Win Oo was shot dead in Kyo Pin Kauk township, Bago Region at 3 p.m. on February 14.
  • Pyu Saw Htee junta informer Moe Gyi was caught alive and will be punished by the people’s decision, stated BAGO Region Group on February 12.
  • In Pin Le Gyi village, Mandalay-Mogok roadside, Sintgu township, Mandalay, the junta army inspection booth was attacked and the two soldiers including a military officer died, according to Sintgu PDF.
  • In the east of Yone Toe Taung, Nahtoegyi township, Mandalay, SAC troops patrolling by motorcycle were attacked at 3:30 p.m. on February 13. Two soldiers died and the others ran away, according to the local PDF.
  • There have been three bomb explosions in three places including Pyi Gyi Ta Gon police station in Mandalay on February 14 morning.
  • Matupi Education Board consisting of CDM staff, volunteers and a local education committee have been teaching 5000 students as an interim measure.
  • In Myothit quarter, Hakha, Chin state, a young man and a teenage girl riding a motorbike who were alleged to have a connection with the Chin Tatmadaw were abducted at a junta inspection booth, according to locals.
  • Chin nationalities singer Benjamin Sung performed to the members of the CNDF on February 13 afternoon.
  • In Padawdu village, Demawso township, Karenni state, a funeral home was bombed by a drone, destroying three houses on Feb 13 morning, according to locals.
  • The Karenni consultancy council announced that military supporters and informers will be attacked on February 13.
  • In Pulaw township, Myeik district, Taninthary, completion of training was celebrated in remembrance of the birthday of Bogyoke Aung San on February 13, according to the statement of the PPDF.
  • Gangaw administration group warned the staffs under the military junta to withdraw as soon as possible again on February 14.
  • A responsible person from Saw PDF said that a nutrition and sports competition was held on the 107th birthday of General Aung San at Saw township, Magway on February 13.
  • In Aung Ban, southern Shan State, the UTS-Aung Ban was formed and attacked the municipal office on February 13, stated UTS-Aung Ban.
  • The UGP and the YPDF from the Danu self-administrative region announced their alliance on February 13.
  • Moe Byae PDF from Phaekhoon southern Shan State urged people to stop supporting the junta which treats the public as enemies.
  • MBPDF announced the completion of No.1 Falcon training.
  • At 105 mile Muse in northern Shan state, Muse PSDA arrested a truck loaded with military-owned Myanmar beer, they destroyed 1260 cartons of Myanmar beer and set the driver free.
  • Norway Telenor Company is planning to sell Telenor Myanmar telecom to the chairman of Shwebyinephyu company, Thein Win Zaw who has in-deep relation with the military-owned business, according to Justice for Myanmar (JFM).
  • Japanese brewery company, Kiran Holding had decided to withdraw from its Myanmar business on February 14.
  • The number of IDPs has doubled and there are 800000 IDPs after the military coup in February, announced the UNHCR.

EAOs

  • In Gwaypin village, Mandalay-Mogok roadside, Mandalay, there had been intense fighting between the junta soldiers and the TNLA with its allied group on February 14 morning.
  • The KNLA (101) celebrated 14 years since the fall of Pado Ma Sha La Phan, the former secretary general of KNU on February 14.
  • In Laykaykaw, Karen state, the ICRC collected data to help war refugees, according to locals.

Military Junta

  • The junta leader, Min Aung Hlaing said that education must be prioritized as it is most essential, at a meeting of states and regions the ministers in Nay Pyi Taw on February 13.
  • 9 EAOs attended the eternal peace pre-meeting on February 13 and it was a free meeting as no leaders who can make decisions attended.
  • The ministry of health under the junta stated that the people with COVID-19 symptoms will be isolated at home only on the instructions of the related health care center, they cannot make the decision themselves.
  • The wives of Non-CDM staff from the ministries under the Ministry of Home Affairs must attend military training, according to staff in Nay Pyi Taw.
  • SAC soldiers have been involved in drug dealing in Puato, Kachin state, according to locals.
  • SAC officers allowed gambling and collected 8 lakhs twice a week in Maupin township, Ayeyarwaddy Region, according to locals.

Summary on February 14

  • It was found that some EAOs attended the eternal peace pre-meeting by the SAC. The meeting was just a free meeting without decision-making leaders. Although the SAC expected much more, the meeting was not successful. It can be said that it didn’t meet expectations.
  • Activities against the military get stronger all over the country. It can be said that activities for anti-junta activities will take place in various ways, even though the junta continues to abduct and kill people every day.
