Summary on 13th October

  • To cover up their all-round losses and instability of the country as well as to distract the public, the military junta tried to reopen cinemas. Then, they would follow the tradition of former dictators, conduct explosions at crowded cinemas, accuse PDFs of doing such violence and defame the revolution. Therefore, the public has to be aware of it.
  • In Sagaing, Kayah, Kayin, Kachin, Chin and Shan North, the revolution gained great momentum. On the other hand, the junta army tried their best to regain influence in those areas and thus, there were frequent battles.
  • As for Yangon, Mandalay, Dawei, Sagaing, Bago, Magwe and Mon State, they had public protests as well as activities of guerrilla revolution and informer-clearance. As Pyusawti, an armed group in plainclothes people, conduct arrests and violence in rural communities in Dawei, local PDFs have to deal with it.
