The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar has increased to 141,896 including six new infections recorded on Sunday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health, Xinhua reported.

No new death was reported on Sunday in the country, with the death toll from COVID-19 remaining at 3,199, the release said.

According to the official data, a total of 131,480 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals.
