563 COVID-19 confirmed cases have been discharged from hospital until September 28 in Sittwe and now there are only 260 confirmed cases in hospital.

Sittway People’s Hospital Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr. Zaw Lwin said that these figures suggested that the pandemic could have been contained to some extent in Sittwe

Daily announcements made by the Ministry of Health and Sports on new COVID-19 confirmed cases in September showed that the number of new confirmed cases in Sittwe drastically fell in comparison with August figures.
