Senior Chinese official Yang Jiechi will visit Myanmar, Spain and Greece from September 1 to 4, China's Foreign Ministry said on Monday, website CGTN reported.

Yang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, will make the official visits at the invitation of the three countries' governments, foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said in Beijing.

It's the former foreign minister's second overseas visit within a month. He visited China's neighbours Singapore and South Korea from August 19-22 according to the report.
