A public bus YBS 20 was bombed at a bus parking lot gate near Police Battalion 9 on the Yangon-Pathein Road in Hlaing Tharyar Township, Yangon Region at 3 pm on 11 March.

The From Zero To Hero guerrilla group confirmed that they attacked the bus. The entire bus was reportedly destroyed in the explosion.

“We did not intend to harm people. We exploded the bomb only after we knew that general public would not be harmed. The bus was damaged a lot. The whole back of the bus was destroyed,” said an officer from the guerrilla group.

The officer of the guerrilla group added that they would step up attacks against the military junta’s main supporters, junta-backed Pyu Saw Htee members and military informants, locally known as Dalan, who are oppressing the people.
