Pope Francis joins Myanmar bishops in deploring the "tragic experience of thousands of people who are displaced [...] and are dying of hunger." The country has been plunged into chaos since the coup d'état on the 1st of February and the brutal repression carried out by the Myanmar's military against demonstrations demanding a return to democracy.
