A police patrol car was attacked in Ye-U Township, Sagaing Region, yesterday.

“Police in a private car came under attack near the entrance of town before an exchange of gun fires. The car was driven away with a burst tyre,” a local told Mizzima.

The body of an unidentified man was found at the place where the incident occurred.

The body was taken by a free-funeral-service car, but the reason of his death remains unknown, the locals said.
