Police sub-inspector killed in Kyauk Taw

A police sub-inspector from the Crime Records Department of Kyauk Taw township's police station in Myanmar's Rakhine state was killed in an armed attack on Saturday, according to Xinhua.

He was killed on the way home from a police station by six men with a knife, said Brigadier General Zaw Min Tun, secretary of the Military True News Information Team.

A similar attack also happened recently to a police sergeant in Kyauk Taw township, he said.
