A police car exploded on the flyover at the Myaynigone Intersection in Sanchaung Township on 2 July.

The incident occurred around 8 a.m., and any death toll has not been reported.

“An explosion occurred as soon as the policemen got out the car even though the doors were not closed.” said a witness.

On 1 July afternoon, an explosion occurred at the traffic-control police box at the same intersection, leaving a passerby injured.
