The pilot of a crashed Myanmar K-8 aircraft who ejected and has been taken prisoner by the Karenni resistance forces today, according to reliable sources.

"The pilot was begging for food in a farm," a villager told Mizzima, several days after the aircraft crashed.

The Karenni resistance forces claimed that they shot down the jet in the fighting near Loikaw in Kayah State on 11 November, while the junta's spokesperson said it was mechanical failure.

Two pilots ejected before crashing the aircraft near Naypyidaw, the capital of Myanmar. One fell into the area of Karenni resistance forces and another one fell in unknown location. Earlier, Karenni resistance seized the materials left by a pilot and Naypyitaw PDF seized the materials left by another one.
