Bo Mu Tue, a member of the Seven People's Defence Force, said four soldiers were killed in an attack on a military council troops inside a school in Mingalar Oo Ward, Taungtha township, Myingyan District on the morning of December 12.

"Four allied forces fired heavy artillery shells at the military council troops stationed in the school. Then they fired again with small arms. The junta’s troops fired back from inside. Four soldiers and one member of Pyu Saw Htee were killed,” he told Mizzima.

The attack was carried out by the allied forces (27 Revolution, Natogyi Regional PDF, Myay Let PDF and Seven People Defense Force) based in Myingyan District. The military said a Pyu Saw Htee leader and an officer were injured.
