Myanmar reported one new COVID-19 death and 25 more infections in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry on Thursday, Xinhua reported.

The death toll from the pandemic now stood at 3,205 while the number of COVID-19 infections rose to 142,340 so far, the release said.

A total of 1,643 samples were tested for COVID-19 on Thursday, down from around 10,000 samples tested daily in early February.
