An officer with deputy director rank working at the President’s mansion in Naypyitaw has tested COVID-19 positive in a regular corona virus test using nasal and throat swab samples conducted for all employees working there.

All those who recently visited the President’s mansion, security personnel deployed there and those who had close contact with this individual will be put under investigation for further tests.
