Number of COVID-19 infections in Myanmar rises to 31,325

Myanmar reported 888 more COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 31,325, Xinhua reported.

A total of 39 more COVID-19 deaths were also reported in the country on Wednesday, bringing the death toll in the country to 732 in total, the release said.

According to the ministry's figures, 13,866 patients have been discharged from the hospitals so far and a total of 451,582 samples have been tested for COVID-19.
