Next parliamentary session to be held first week of February 2021

Myanmar will hold the next parliamentary session in the first week of February 2021, Xinhua reported quoting state media.

The term of the current parliamentary session is set to conclude at the end of January next year.

According to the 2008 Constitution, the first regular session of a new term of the parliament begins with the House of Representatives which shall be held within 90 days after the commencement of the general elections.
