At least two employees were injured in a bomb attack at the EPC electrical engineering office in Natogyi Township, in Mandalay Region’s Myingyan District, at around 11 a.m. on 29 March.

"I heard that the people’s defense force threw a hand-grenade. I saw the ambulance carrying a patient from the office”, a local said.

The attack was carried out by the Natogyi People’s Defense Force (PDF) and an officer from the group requested that people not go within 100 yards of the Electricity Office because the attack was ongoing.

"We carried out a small attack on the EPC office. There have been reports that some staff members were injured”, a PDF spokesperson said.

Previously, on 27 March, the Natogyi PDF also attacked 60 junta troops, including a tactical operation commander, stationed in Wet Lu Village, Natogyi Township.
