The Insecurity Insight is a Switzerland non-profit organisation that is collecting data on the impact of armed violence and insecurity on people's lives and wellbeing across the world with a view to generating preventive policies.

The CDM Medical Network estimated about 60,000 government healthcare sector joined the civil disobedience movement following the military coup. Healthcare workers were arbitrarily beaten and arrested while providing their services, and patients were even arrested while receiving treatment in facilities. The military troops occupy hospitals as military bases in direct violation of international humanitarian law.

Thousands of people have no healthcare facility or services due to the collapse of the public healthcare system and obstruction of healthcare access, especially in conflict-torn areas.

The situation has turned Myanmar into one of the most dangerous places in the world to be a healthcare worker.
