Myanmar exceeds more than 1500 COVID-19 cases

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar has increased to 1,518 as of Monday night, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports Xinhua reported.

A total of 54 more COVID-19 locally transmitted cases were reported on Monday night.

According to the release, the newly confirmed cases are from Mandalay and Yangon regions, Rakhine and Mon states, respectively.

According to the ministry's figures, 388 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
