Myanmar COVID-19 cases rise to 1,253

The number of COVID-19 cases registered in Myanmar has risen to 1,253, with the death toll at seven, according to the Myanmar Ministry of Health and Sports.

The Myanmar authorities continue to stress the need for care with the use of masks, social distancing and hand washing.

A region of concern is Rakhine State and particularly Sittwe.
