The Officer-in Charge of the News and Information Office of CDF-Mindat, told Mizzima that the Chinland Defense Force (CDF-Mindat) has taken care of some soldiers who are believed to have deserted from the Myanmar military.

He said that CDF-Mindat took care of some soldiers from Bukun village where the Tatmadaw and CDF-Mindat clashed on May 21 and release them. However, some still lived among them while one or two deserters joined CDF-Mindat.
