The Mingaladon Township General Administration Office (GAO) and the Mingaladon Air Force security gate were shot at, and some troops of the military council may have been killed, according to locals.

The shooting took place while the 33rd anniversary of the General Administration Office was being celebrated.

Locals said a female janitor and at least two troops of the military council were injured in the incident, and the female janitor’s injuries are serious.

Roads in Nwekhwe, Htaukkyant township, were blocked by military council troops because of this incident.
