Two soldiers were killed when a military council vehicle was bombed near the bridge in the east of Mying Dawei in Rakhine Gyi area (Administrative unit), Myittha township, Kyaukse district on the night of November 5, according to a local source.

The Mytel tower in Pyay Lone Aye village, Rakhine Gyi area was blown up and a military council vehicle that came to investigate was hit by a mine.

The source said that the injured were taken to hospital in Rakhine Gyi area by the military council troops, and two military council soldiers died on November 6.

It was announced that the bombings were detonated by the Kyaukse Red Dragon guerrillas and another group which does not want to be name.
