Kale PDF raids village to fight against Junta troops

On November 22 the Kale township Defence Force (Kale-PDF) attacked junta forces and members of Pyu Saw Htee stationed in Kyauk Pyoke village in the southern part of Kale Township, Sagaing region.

According to an announcement, five troops of the junta were killed, and two fighters of Kale-PDF died in the clashes, which lasted for more than three-and-a-half hours on November 21.

The PDF was able to enter more than half of the village in Kyauk Pyoke village, but were forced to withdraw due to the imbalance of weapons and junta troops from Hanthawaddy village which fired heavy artillery.

Kyauk Pyoke Village is located at the edge of Gangaw township and has some 230 houses. It was said that there are no residents but the Tatmadaw and members of Pyu Saw Htee in the village.
