Justice, fundamental rights for all ethnic people, including Rohingya, will be restored: NUG

All-out efforts will be made to ensure rights, equality, and fundamental rights for all ethnic people, as well as Rohingya, said a deputy minister of National Unity Government.

The ill-treatment of an ethnic group is also regarded as the similar sentiment towards other national people, according to Deputy Minister Ei Thinzar Maung for Women, Youth and Children Affairs of the NUG to mark the Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day on 25 August.

She also remarked that accountability must be ensured, while imagining the future.

“In addition to Rohingya women, youth and children, we will continue fighting for justice, equability and fundamental rights for all the national races in Myanmar,” she confirmed.
