The Launglon People’s Defence Force (LLPDF) torched a vehicle refueling the military-owned Mytel telecoms towers near Kyat Yat Twin village in Dawei District’s LaungLon Township, as a warning. The LLPDF said that it had set the vehicle on fire and destroyed it, but had released the two drivers after they signed a confession.

“We will obliterate all the businesses that have been making profits for the wicked military regime”, said an LLPDF spokesperson.

They added that the LLPDF will continue to attack businesses that give the military money that can be used to buy more weapons to slaughter innocent people who are peacefully protesting against the dictatorship.

This is the second time a junta vehicle has been torched in LaungLon Townshion on the Dawei to Htee Khee Road in Dawei District.
