Four more COVID-19 deaths reported

The death toll of COVID-19 increased to 98 with four newly reported deaths on Monday night, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry Xinhua reported.

A total of 346 confirmed cases were also reported in the country on Monday night, the release said, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 6,151.

State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, in her capacity as Chair of Central Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19, said the government will fulfil the needs of the public as part of the relief measures, including the provision of medical equipment and volunteers at quarantine centres as well as enough hospitals to accommodate infected patients.
