A member of the Ye-U Urban Guerrilla (YUG) group said that at least five troops from the military council were killed after 150 troops of infantry battalion in Nyaung Le village, Ye-U Township were attacked with three Padaythar mines on November 14.

After the attack, the military council set fire to Nyaung Le village and opened fire on the village and nearby villages with heavy artillery.

The junta’s column marching from Depayin township in Sagaing region to the western part of Ye-U town was bombed by the People's Defence Forces.
