Fighting reported in KNU Brigade 6 area

One person from the military was killed in a clash at Tada-U near Walmar village, Noh Ta Khaw Township, Dooplaya District controlled by the Karen National Union (KNU) Brigade 6.

The Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Battalion 17, company 2 and Battalion 432 led by major Aung Naing Lin under the Military Council clashed on September 22.

The military had asked twice to deploy in the KNU-controlled village of Phaya Ngut To, but the KNU refused before the fighting.

The KNU's 6th Brigade said that one soldier was killed and two others were wounded from LIB 432 of military junta.
